At Cosmiko we use a number of different nutrient-rich ingredients that deeply moisturise, soften and protect skin.

Aloe Vera Butter

The soothing properties of Aloe Vera with a rich, creamy butter base. It is excellent for hydrating and calming the skin, particularly after exposure to the sun. Rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, Aloe Vera Butter is ideal for sensitive or irritated skin, promoting skin healing.

Avocado Butter

Avocado butter provides deep hydration and protection for the skin, making it a great choice for all skin types. Rich in vitamins A, D, and E, as well as fatty acids, it helps restore the skin barrier, reduces inflammation, and combats premature ageing.

Beeswax

Acts as a non-comedogenic barrier that locks in moisture, softens skin, and protects against environmental irritants. Rich in Vitamin A, it promotes cell regeneration, reduces inflammation, and provides antibacterial protection, making it ideal for treating dry skin, eczema and acne.

Cocoa Butter

Melts at body temperature providing a soft, velvety feel to balm and creams. Cocoa butter (also known as Cacao butter) will soften skin, forming a protective barrier and helping to alleviate skin conditions like dermatitis. It is very stable with recognised antioxidant properties that help prolong product shelf life.

Coconut Oil

Coconut Oil is rich in lauric acid, which provides antimicrobial properties that can help treat acne and eczema. Additionally, it supports skin healing and reduces inflammation.

Mango Butter

A member of the cashew family and high in Vitamin A, C and Beta Carotene. The fruit extract prevents drying of the skin and formation of wrinkles by reducing degeneration of skin cells and restoring flexibility.

Shea Butter

Rich in vitamins and fatty acids and excellent for softening skin. Known for its moisturising and healing properties.

Soy Wax

A nutrient-rich emollient that deeply moisturises, softens, and protects skin. It is packed with Vitamin E and antioxidants, acting as a non-comedogenic sealant for hydration, particularly effective for dry skin while being safe for sensitive areas.
