Flavours of the #GBBOFinal in your Private Label Cosmetics!

Last night marked the end of the series of one the most popular television programmes in the UK. The #GBBO finally came to a very close finish with its final three contestants baking it out to be crowned the winner of 2017. Sophie, Steven and Kate consistently pushed the boundaries throughout the series with innovative recipes incorporating new and unknown flavours from across the globe. Although as some flavours went in we’d watch through the gaps in our fingers, some worked extremely well and even won over the approvals of Judges #Prue Leith and #Paul Hollywood.

Often when ingredients are said to be the next big #trend on national television, they will immediately go out of stock and will not be seen again for the following months. Luckily this time, as Prue was tucking into Sophie’s showstopper. She stopped to comment on the ingredients exclaiming; “Lemon and Lavender has to be the new taste!” These two flavours are already well established in the world of Cosmetics & Skincare and adding these into your formulas in the way of Essential Oils can add many benefits and features that could be used as your USP.

The calming ingredient is also effective in Cosmetic and Skin Care products and has always proved to be a very popular ingredient thanks to its pleasant aroma. Just like Lemon Oil, Lavender can be used as an effective insect repellent. Lavender famously helps induce sleep so it would be perfect in relaxing and calming formulas. Also makes a fantastic ingredient for treating various skin ailments including acne, eczema and reducing redness.
